TOP 10 MAKEUP PRODUCTS EVERY WOMAN NEEDS TO OWN.

When it comes to make-up nowadays where are you suppose to begin. We are inundated with new products every day through social media and I don't know about you but even as a make-up artist 12 years in the business I am so overwhelmed with choice and feel quite vulnerable when I am shopping for products.

If you are a make-up beginner or a beauty junkie I wanted to streamline some of my favorite products I have used over the years and what I feel every woman needs to build a statement makeup look. If you had these products in your makeup bag it would be hard not to look flawless.

Lets begin the countdown.

1. FIX + PREP AND PRIME SPRAY - MAC

This is the first product on my list because I don't start mine or any of my clients without using it. It works in two ways, its adds INSTANT hydration to any skin type and believe me even oily skin types need to be hydrated. Hydrated fresh skin is a must for flawless foundation. Secondly I use it to prolong the longevity of my foundation. Its laced with Glycerin which acts as a humectant which draws moisture to the skin this maintains the skin hydration level throughout the day and also the texture so the foundation looks and lasts much better. I apply this to fresh skin and over my completed look at the end of a make-up also.

2. FOUNDATION PRIMER RADIANCE- LAURA MERCIER

I love a subtle glow to my skin and this primer is my number one choice. Its lightweight with a sheer natural radiant effect on the skin. My makeup stays put all day after using this primer and i love that its weightless when I apply it.

3. LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION - ARMANI

When it comes to foundation its really hard to choose one but if I was pushed Luminous Silk is my all time go to. I love the texture, the coverage and the shades in this range. It may not be for everyone but comes close to pleasing 95% of all make--up artists so is definitely work a try. It looks like a veil of silk when applied to a prepped skin and glides on easy which makes applying it on the go very achievable.

4. RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER- NARS

Worshiped by Make-up artists for its luxurious texture and luminous finish, this Concealer is a must for every bag. It evens skin with lightweight medium to high build able coverage. Its an instant filter under the eyes covering dark pigmentation and blurs fine lines. Custard & Vanilla are the two shades I use the most on Irish skin tones.

5. FLAWLESS FINISH POWDER- CHARLOTTE TILBURY

This powder is a Multi-tasker. It has a creamy flawless finish whilst treating the skin with rose wax and almond oil. This powder wont make your skin look dry and dull but instead soft focused and seamless. I love how it feels when I apply it and its so builable if you wanted to add extra coverage in a natural way.

6. BRONZER SOLEIL TAN DE - CHANEL

When I worked for Brown Thomas as their personal beauty shopper not a day went by where I didnt use this. It adds the most natural bronze glow to any skin tone. Its cream-gel bronzer that glides on to leave a velvety finish.Sun-kissed and natural this can be worn either over or under your usual foundation. Its amazing dusted over your chest and shoulders.

7. WARM SOUL BLUSH - MAC

The tone of this blusher is suitable for most skin tones. It gives the most natural hint of a peachy golden glow. This is a mineral blusher so it adds a radiance to the cheek. You can use a light dusting or build it up to give a more dramatic effect. Its also beautiful swept over the eye lids.

8.NUDE SPECTRUM PALETTE- ZOEVA

This is a new addition to my makeup bag. It contains an array of elegant ‘nude’ hues from shimmering browns, pinks and peaches, complemented by off-white, classic black and gold. This palette has everything you need to create a simple natural eye look to a smokey dramatic eye look.

9. Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara - Estee Lauder

Mascara is such a difficult choice as its a very personal decision. I love this mascara for a number of reasons. I love the shape and size of the brush, the texture of the formula is lightweight and buildable. It gives instant volume and length and its non flaking or drying.

10. VELVET TEDDY LIPSTICK - MAC

This lipstick is iconic, the color, the texture and finish. Similar to a mascara this is a very personalized choice but in my experience this is a hit whenever I wear it or use it.
